Casio is preparing to release the CRW-002, a new generation of ring-sized digital watches, scheduled for launch in November. The device will replace the existing CRW-001 model. According to CasioBlog, the retail price for the new accessory is set at approximately $135.
The design of the CRW-002 is inspired by the classic Casio A168 model. The ring features a digital display and a band styled to resemble the metal bracelet of traditional watches, produced using an injection molding process.
Despite its compact size, the device includes standard digital watch features such as dual time zone support, 12- and 24-hour formats, a 60-minute stopwatch, a calendar, and LED backlighting.
The ring also introduces a Time Flash function. This feature enables automatic LED illumination at the start of each hour or at specific times set by the user, allowing the device to function as a visual reminder.
