Casio has unveiled the G-Shock MRG-B2100HR-1A, a limited-edition timepiece celebrating the 30th anniversary of the premium MR-G series. The company plans to produce only 800 units globally, with each watch featuring a unique serial number. Sales in Japan are scheduled to begin in November 2026, with a recommended retail price of ¥1.1 million, approximately $6928.

The watch features a distinctive dial crafted in collaboration with Kyoto metal foil artisan Hiroto Rakusho, utilizing a hand-applied platinum layer on a lattice base. The bezel and bracelet employ structural color technology, where laser pulses create microscopic surface textures that shift hues based on light angles, mimicking natural optical effects.

The construction incorporates high-end materials, including a cobalt-chrome upper bezel, a DAT55G titanium alloy bracelet, and Ti64 titanium for the case and buttons. All exterior surfaces are treated with a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating for scratch resistance, while the 27-element bezel structure includes shock-absorbing inserts to maintain durability.

Technical specifications include the Tough Solar power system, providing up to five months of operation on a single charge. The model also supports Bluetooth connectivity via the Casio Watches app, Multi-Band 6 radio synchronization, and LED illumination. The watch is protected by sapphire crystal and offers water resistance up to 200 meters.
