Cantor Fitzgerald has initiated coverage on Securitize, a firm specializing in the tokenization of stocks and funds. Analysts set a price target of $21.20 for the company's stock, which represents a 95% upside compared to the closing price of $10.86 recorded last Friday. Following the announcement, the stock price rose to $13.50 by Monday's close, marking a 24% daily increase.

The positive outlook follows a recent regulatory development from the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The regulator issued a temporary order allowing specific venues to issue tokenized versions of publicly traded US equities. This decision contributed to a 14% rise in the company's share price prior to the analyst report, with further gains observed in after-hours trading.

According to Cantor Fitzgerald, the current volume of onchain assets is estimated at $39 billion, representing 0.01% of the total $319 trillion traditional financial market. Data from RWA.xyz identifies Securitize as the leading tokenization platform by distributed asset value, currently holding $4.64 billion. This figure places the firm ahead of competitors like Ondo, which holds $3.63 billion.

The platform currently supports 1,877 holders across 26 distinct tokenized assets. Monthly transfer volume on the network reached $1.12 billion, reflecting a 178% increase compared to the previous month. Year-to-date, the company's stock has seen a growth of 19.89%, with significant momentum gained during the most recent four-day period.
