General Motors is expanding its luxury Cadillac brand into the Australian and New Zealand markets with the 2027 Lyriq-V electric SUV. This model marks the first time the V-series performance badge has been applied to an electric vehicle for these regions.

The vehicle features a powertrain delivering 459 kW and 880 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. It is equipped with a 92 kWh battery pack, providing an estimated range of 471 km on the WLTP cycle.

The Lyriq-V for Oceania comes in a right-hand-drive configuration, similar to the version previously launched in Japan. The model includes specific international market adjustments, such as larger side mirrors and unique interior upholstery materials.

The SUV supports vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology. Pricing for the 2027 Cadillac Lyriq-V in New Zealand is set to start at NZD 109 000.
