BYD has unveiled the interior of its third-generation Tang, a five-seat electric SUV scheduled for release later this year. The vehicle features a cabin design inspired by aircraft control consoles, offering two large displays: a 35.4-inch integrated screen and a 30-inch panoramic dashboard display.
The SUV measures 5,045 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,760 mm in height, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Passengers in the second row benefit from over 1,000 mm of legroom and zero-gravity captain’s chairs. The interior will be available in Dune Beige and Amber Brown color schemes.
Technically, the model includes the Blade Battery 2.0 with Flash Charging, allowing a 10% to 70% charge in 5 minutes. It is equipped with the DiSus-A intelligent body control system, dual-chamber air suspension, and the God’s Eye B advanced driving assistance system.
The vehicle will offer two battery pack options of 88.682 kWh and 105.792 kWh, providing CLTC ranges of 730 km, 830 km, and 850 km. While pricing remains unannounced, the company positions this five-seat model as a smaller alternative to the full-size Great Tang.
