BYD officially unveiled its new ATTO 8 electric SUV at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. This seven-seat flagship model is designed for the European market and features the second-generation Blade battery with a capacity of 115kWh. The vehicle is expected to launch in Europe in the first quarter of 2027.
The SUV measures 5040mm in length, 1996mm in width, and 1760mm in height. It is available in two configurations: a rear-wheel-drive Design version with 455 horsepower and a 652km WLTP range, and an all-wheel-drive Excellence version with 764 horsepower and a 602km WLTP range. The AWD model accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds.
The ATTO 8 highlights advanced fast-charging capabilities using proprietary charging stations with up to 1500kW power. Under optimal conditions, the battery charges from 10% to 97% in 9 minutes. Even in temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius, the charge time increases to only 12 minutes.
The interior includes a 15.6-inch central display and a 2.39 square meter panoramic glass roof. To support the rollout of its new vehicles, BYD plans to construct 3000 fast-charging stations across Europe by the end of 2027.
