The Denza Z9 GT station wagon is set to become the first BYD vehicle in Europe to feature the God’s Eye City Navigation Driving Assistant (CNOA). The automaker announced the upcoming integration of this system during the 2026 Paris Auto Show, with the model scheduled for a European market launch in 2027.
The God’s Eye system is classified as a Level 2 autonomous driving technology. While it enables autonomous urban navigation, the manufacturer emphasizes that it is not a fully autonomous autopilot. Drivers are required to maintain constant supervision of the vehicle and remain prepared to take control at any moment.
In the Chinese market, the Denza Z9 GT utilizes the God’s Eye 5.0 ADAS, powered by a 4nm Xuanji A3 SoC. This chip delivers a peak computing power of approximately 700 TOPS. The system integrates data from various sensors, including LiDAR, millimeter-wave radars, ultrasonic sensors, and cameras.
BYD’s move follows the expansion of intelligent driving features by competitors like Xpeng, which plans to introduce its Navigation Guided Pilot (NGP) to Europe in the first quarter of 2027. Following the Z9 GT, BYD intends to implement the God’s Eye CNOA technology across other models in its lineup.
