BYD has unveiled the first teaser images of its upcoming ultra-luxury executive sedan under the Yangwang brand. The vehicle, currently covered in camouflage, features a boxy design and is expected to incorporate the signature Ding-style front fascia seen on the Yangwang U8 model.
The sedan stands out with its rear-hinged doors, a design element typically reserved for high-end luxury vehicles. The exterior is further distinguished by crystal headlights and the integration of LiDAR sensors. The manufacturer has also confirmed that the model will support fast-charging technology.
According to Hu Xiaoqing, General Manager of the Yangwang Sales Division, the car is currently known by the internal codename HU. The model represents three years of development and is positioned as an ultra-luxury executive sedan. The official name for the vehicle has not yet been announced.
