BYD anticipates monthly sales of its Fang Cheng Bao Formula S series to reach 15,000 units. The lineup, which includes the Formula S liftback and the Formula S GT station wagon, began domestic deliveries on September 28. Company representatives noted that performance in the Chinese market has exceeded initial expectations following the September 16 launch.

The Formula S liftback is priced between ¥189,900 and ¥229,900, while the Formula S GT station wagon ranges from ¥219,900 to ¥239,900. Higher trim levels feature the DiSus-M magnetorheological suspension system. Both models support flash charging, which allows the battery to charge from 10% to 97% in nine minutes.

The Formula S liftback offers battery options of 76.744 kWh and 92.093 kWh, with ranges reaching up to 900 km under CLTC conditions. The Formula S GT comes with a 92.093 kWh battery and offers ranges between 730 km and 850 km. There is a possibility that both models will be introduced to international markets under the Denza brand.

BYD plans to expand its charging infrastructure significantly. The company intends to deploy 20,000 flash chargers across China by the end of the year. Additionally, BYD aims to install 6,000 flash chargers abroad, integrating them with its existing energy storage and solar power business operations.
