BYD reported total passenger vehicle sales of 456,713 units in September 2026. The Dynasty and Ocean series accounted for 394,945 vehicles, while the Fang Cheng Bao brand reached 43,181 sales. Denza recorded 18,198 units, and the premium Yangwang brand sold 389 vehicles.
Overseas markets contributed significantly to the total volume with 179,877 vehicles sold. Within the Dynasty series, the Yuan model led with 83,320 units sold in September, bringing its year-to-date total to 485,471. The Song model followed with 52,933 monthly sales.
The Ocean series saw strong performance from the Sea Lion with 56,539 units and the Seal with 46,718 units sold during the month. The Dolphin and Seagull models recorded 44,141 and 38,650 units respectively. The Destroyer 05 model added 4,261 units to the monthly total.
Fang Cheng Bao's performance was driven by the Bao 7 model, which reached 32,144 sales in September. Other models like the Bao 3 and Bao 5 recorded 5,140 and 3,889 units. Denza's D9 model sold 6,308 units, while the Yangwang U8 and U7 models recorded 252 and 136 sales.
