The new luxury sedan from the YangWang brand, a subsidiary of BYD, is currently in the prototype testing phase. The vehicle features a large upright grille and crystal-shaped headlights, mirroring the design language of the existing YangWang U8 SUV.

The model is equipped with rear coach doors and an extended wheelbase, emphasizing comfort for second-row passengers. The vehicle includes a LiDAR sensor mounted above the windshield and is expected to utilize the DiPilot 600 semi-autonomous driving system.

The sedan will be sold exclusively as an electric vehicle. Industry reports suggest it may become the first BYD model to feature solid-state battery technology, which the company plans to introduce in 2027 according to executive vice president Stella Li.
