BYD Initiates Major Sales Campaign Across the UK

BYD has initiated its largest sales campaign in the UK, offering discounts of up to £2,500 on a range of plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles. The promotion is scheduled to run from September 10 to September 21.

The company is introducing specific leasing offers for its new models. The Dolphin G DM-i starts at £250 per month, while the Atto 2 DM-i is available from £274 per month. The Seal U DM-i is offered with a 0% APR financing option.

Market data from the SMMT indicates that electrified vehicles accounted for 29.8% of the UK market in August. BYD has registered over 110,000 vehicles in the country since March 2023, capturing a 3.48% market share.

BYD's registrations in the UK grew by 98% through August 2026, totaling over 48,000 units. The company plans to further expand its local presence with the upcoming launch of the Shark pickup and the Ti 7 SUV.
