BYD has introduced the Fang Cheng Bao Tai 7 to the Uzbekistan market, rebranding it as the BYD Ti 7. The vehicle was officially launched during the third electric mobility carnival in Tashkent, which took place from October 1 to 4, 2026.
The 5-seat all-wheel-drive SUV features DM-p hybrid technology. In Uzbekistan, the model is priced at 513,500,000 Uzbek som, which is approximately $43,340. For comparison, the same variant starts at ¥225,800 or $33,520 in China.
The Tai 7 debuted in China in September 2025 and has since become the best-selling model for the Fang Cheng Bao brand. Cumulative sales reached 279,182 units by the end of September 2026, with 32,144 units sold in September alone.
BYD established its presence in Uzbekistan in March 2023 and began local production with UzAuto in January 2024. The Jizzakh plant has an initial annual capacity of 50,000 vehicles, currently producing the Song Plus DM-i and Chazor DM-i models.
During the carnival, BYD also displayed other sub-brand vehicles, including the Denza B5 and B8, as well as the Yangwang U9. The company intends to further its localization strategy in the region through partnerships with local firms.
