Bybit has released its 40th monthly proof-of-reserves report, covering assets worth $19.6 billion as of September 23, 2026. This figure represents an increase from the $18.1 billion reported in late August, primarily driven by the addition of 10 new tokens to the verification list.
The exchange now tracks 50 tokens in total, with all maintaining a reserve ratio of at least 100%. The data was verified by the third-party auditor Hacken. The 10 newly included assets demonstrate reserve ratios ranging from 101% to 125%.
Specific holdings include 58,722 BTC against 56,131 BTC in user liabilities, resulting in a 104% reserve ratio. Ethereum reserves reached 570,018 ETH for 551,869 ETH in user assets, a 103% ratio. USDT liabilities decreased to $3.59 billion, backed by $3.96 billion in reserves, achieving a 110% ratio.
The verification process utilizes Merkle trees to allow users to confirm their balances without compromising account privacy. Bybit has been publishing these monthly reports since the program launched in December 2022.
