In October 2026, the Russian aerospace company Buro 1440, a subsidiary of ICS Holding, unveiled a new line of satellite communication terminals. The product range includes a serial model, a compact prototype, and a specialized device for railway transport, all designed to connect to the company's low-orbit satellite constellation.

The serial terminal, 1440.Ultra, supports data transfer speeds of up to 700 MB/s. The device measures 600x600 millimeters and features an IP67 rating, allowing it to operate in harsh environments. Compared to the pre-production model, the weight of the serial unit has been reduced by 30%.

The company also introduced the 1440.Mini concept, a portable terminal measuring 300x300 millimeters. It is intended for emergency services and field expeditions, with a target data speed of approximately 100 MB/s. Production timelines for this model have not yet been disclosed.

The railway-specific terminal, 1440.Zemlya, is currently undergoing testing on Russian Railways (RZD) trains. The hardware is engineered to maintain stable data connectivity at travel speeds of up to 400 km/h, aiming to provide internet access for passengers on various train types across the country.
