Buro 1440, a subsidiary of ICS Holding, conducted its first satellite video call with a Nornickel industrial site in Norilsk. The demonstration took place during the Digital Solutions forum in Moscow, utilizing the company's proprietary subscriber terminal and the Rassvet low-orbit satellite constellation.

The companies established their partnership in May 2026. Nornickel intends to use the satellite broadband access to supplement existing terrestrial communication lines, aiming to improve the overall stability and reliability of its network infrastructure.

During the same forum, Buro 1440 signed a forward contract with the Seligdar holding. The agreement focuses on providing satellite connectivity for gold mining facilities within the Aldan cluster, with future plans to extend the technology to the Kyuchus deposit in Yakutia.

The satellite network will support industrial equipment, automation, and mining machinery operations. Additionally, the system is designed to provide both stationary and mobile communication services for employees working in remote areas lacking terrestrial infrastructure.
