The project expands an existing Kubernetes-based monitoring cluster to include ESP32-CAM devices for motion-triggered photography. The system architecture utilizes MinIO for image storage, a custom pworker service to manage Kafka events, and N8n for Telegram integration.

Hardware requirements include a 5V power supply with at least 1A current to prevent reboots during Wi-Fi and sensor activity. The ESP32-CAM module requires specific GPIO configurations for flashing, and the optical sensor is prone to failure under continuous operation.

The firmware was updated to include CameraManager and CaptureManager classes, enabling photo capture every 5 seconds for a 20-second duration upon activation. The system includes a light-dependent resistor check to ensure photos are only taken under sufficient lighting.

The central esp-server was modified to support MinIO integration, handle photo topics, and provide a web-based configuration interface. The pworker service generates secure, temporary links to stored images, which are then processed by N8n for delivery to Telegram.

The infrastructure configuration, managed via infra.yaml, automates the deployment of third-party services like MinIO and N8n. Startup scripts were updated to initialize these components and provide access to administrative dashboards within the cluster.
