Brook Gaming has launched the StarRay wireless controller, featuring an asymmetrical joystick layout similar to the Microsoft Xbox design. The device offers broad compatibility across multiple platforms, including PS5, PC, iOS, and Android.
The controller is equipped with Hall effect joysticks and mechanical buttons for increased durability. When connected to a PC, the device supports a 1000Hz polling rate. The triggers feature dual-stage travel adjustment to accommodate various gaming styles.
Users can customize settings via a dedicated app, including macro configurations, rapid-fire, button mapping, and joystick sensitivity. The hardware includes two top auxiliary buttons, two back buttons, dual vibration motors, RGB lighting, and anti-slip grips.
The StarRay controller supports both Bluetooth and USB-C connectivity. A notable feature is the ability to wake up a PS5 console directly using the Home button. The product is currently available at a suggested retail price of $74.99.
