Broadcom and Supermicro are integrating their technologies to create a unified management system for AI infrastructure. This collaboration combines VMware AI Factory's software-defined layer with Supermicro's management suite, which provides visibility into servers, networking, power, cooling, and firmware.

The partnership aims to simplify the deployment and operation of large AI environments for enterprises and cloud providers. By combining VMware Cloud Foundation and Supermicro's HGX systems, the companies are providing complementary management layers that automate software deployment and lifecycle operations.

Supermicro's SuperCloud Director, SuperCloud Automation Center, and SuperCloud Composer manage the physical infrastructure across multitenant environments. The software-defined approach of VMware AI Factory ensures that the system can be expanded to any certified hardware vendor through specific validation.

The integration is specifically designed for enterprises that need GPU capacity through neocloud providers. This allows companies to move their workloads to next-generation GPUs using a preconfigured AI factory, facilitating the transition from AI training to the AI-native application development and business outcomes.
