Bose has introduced the Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds, a new model featuring the QuietControl active noise cancellation technology. The product is priced at $99 and targets users who prefer wired audio connections, eliminating the need for Bluetooth pairing or battery charging.
The earbuds connect via a USB Type-C port to compatible devices and support the USB Audio Class 2 protocol. They process audio at a fixed resolution of 24-bit/48 kHz using the proprietary SoundDesign digital signal processing technology, which ensures minimal signal latency.
The device includes a physical remote for volume, playback, and call control, featuring a microphone designed to suppress noise from contact with clothing. The QuietControl system utilizes four microphones to monitor and minimize ambient sound, offering three distinct listening modes.
The package includes a 1.2-meter cable, silicone ear tips in three sizes, and stabilizing elements. The earbuds are rated IPX4 for water resistance and come in black, smoke white, and a limited Dewdrop Mint color. Pre-orders are open, with retail sales starting October 15.
