Jesper Brøndum, co-founder and Group CTO of the Nordic e-commerce company Boozt, will speak at the EU-Startups Summit 2027. The event is scheduled for May 13–14, 2027, in Malta and expects to host approximately 2,500 attendees, including founders and investors.

Brøndum joined Boozt in 2010 as its first technical specialist. He oversaw the development of the company's proprietary platform, which integrates web and mobile commerce, payments, finance, customer service, and warehouse operations. The company chose to build its own infrastructure rather than relying on third-party software.

Boozt has expanded its engineering capabilities through acquisitions, including the 2019 purchase of app developer Touchlogic and the 2021 acquisition of its Lithuanian partner Estina. Brøndum holds a PhD in Multivariate Data Processing from the University of Copenhagen and previously worked at Netcompany.

The company currently operates in 14 European markets and employs over 1,100 people. In 2025, Boozt reported revenue of approximately €733 million, or SEK 8.29 billion. The platform serves a customer base of more than 3.5 million active users.
