The display technology, showcased at CES 2025, is officially titled Automatic Flexible Vehicle Display. BOE developed this system to bring foldable and curved screen capabilities from consumer electronics to automotive-grade applications.
The hardware configuration features a 17-inch curved display integrated into the dashboard, paired with a 15-inch foldable screen located on the passenger side. The central curved unit utilizes a screen with a bending radius of R3.
The system allows the central control screen to bend and conform to the dashboard geometry. Meanwhile, the passenger-side display is designed to fold and hide when not in use, offering a flexible interface for modern electric vehicle interiors.
