BMW has introduced a special series of nine M-branded vehicles to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Nurburgring circuit. The lineup includes six car models: M2, M3 sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupe, M5 sedan, and M5 Touring, alongside three motorcycle models: M 1000 RR, M 1000 R, and M 1000 XR.

Each of the three motorcycle models is limited to 100 units for global distribution. The vehicles feature a Nurburgring-themed design, including a Nurburgring Green paint option, specific decals, and branding indicating the track was established in 1927. Customers can also select a Sapphire Black metallic paint.

The M2, M3, and M4 models for the European market are equipped with an upgraded 3.0L turbocharged inline-six engine featuring a pre-chamber ignition system to comply with Euro 7 emission standards. The M5 models utilize a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 engine, where power was reduced by 41 horsepower to 536 horsepower, while electric motor output was increased to maintain a total system output of 717 horsepower.

Orders for the M3 and M5 anniversary editions in Europe open this month. The M2 anniversary edition will be available for order starting in January 2027.
