The iX3 30L variant is equipped with a 235 kW (315 hp) motor produced by BMW AG, reaching a top speed of 180 km/h. The vehicle uses a lithium iron phosphate battery with cells manufactured by a CATL subsidiary in Yibin, Sichuan province. While battery capacity and range are not yet disclosed, the SUV seats five people and measures 4,885 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,634 mm in height.
The long-wheelbase version is the first electric SAV built on the Neue Klasse platform, developed specifically for the Chinese market. Its wheelbase of 3,005 mm is 108 mm longer than the standard version, providing more space for second-row passengers. The vehicle is produced at the BMW Brilliance plant in Shenyang.
The Chinese model will feature an end-to-end driver assistance system developed jointly with Momenta, supporting both urban roads and highways. The infotainment system integrates Alibaba's AI large language model and DeepSeek capabilities, while also supporting Huawei HiCar and Apple CarPlay.
