BMW has released new camouflaged images of its upcoming electric M3, revealing design details that align closely with the concept car unveiled in June. The production version features a more restrained aerodynamic kit compared to the concept, opting for standard side mirrors and omitting the ducktail spoiler while maintaining a powerful stance.
The vehicle is distinguished from the standard BMW i3 by its wider, flared wheel arches, signaling its high-performance M lineage. Underneath the camouflage, the car utilizes the Neue Klasse platform, which supports a quad-motor architecture. While official power figures remain undisclosed, industry reports suggest that certain variants could exceed 1000 horsepower.
The electric M3 is scheduled for an official debut in 2027, with production set to begin at the Munich plant in the same year. Although BMW has not yet confirmed a specific delivery date, the company aims to provide the first units to customers before the end of 2027.
