BMW has unveiled the iX4, the third model in its Neue Klasse lineup, following the iX3 and i3. The crossover features a coupe-like design and will be manufactured at the company's plant in Debrecen, Hungary. Sales for the iX4 50 xDrive trim are scheduled to begin in March 2027, with a starting price of $66 200 in the US market.

The iX4 50 xDrive is equipped with a dual-motor powertrain delivering 463 hp and 644 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 96 km/h in 4.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 209 km/h. The model features an 800-volt electrical architecture supporting charging speeds up to 400 kW. This allows for a 10 to 80 percent charge in 21 minutes, or adding 296 km of range in 10 minutes. The M60 version includes an adaptive M suspension, an electronically controlled M Sport rear differential, and 21-inch wheels as standard equipment.

Inside, the iX4 is equipped with the Panoramic iDrive system, featuring a 17.9-inch central display and a panoramic glass roof.
