BMW has officially started early deliveries of its 2027 iX3 50 xDrive electric SUV in the United States. While the original launch date was scheduled for September 25, 2026, the company accelerated the process to September 16, 2026, citing strong customer demand.

The manufacturer is currently scaling production to meet a backlog of over 100,000 orders. To support this, BMW added a third shift at its manufacturing facility in Debrecen, Hungary. The plant previously achieved a milestone of 50,000 units produced within nine months of starting series production.

In the US market, the 2027 BMW iX3 50 xDrive is priced starting at $61,500. The vehicle offers an EPA-estimated range of up to 434 miles and supports DC charging capacity of up to 400 kW, allowing for a range increase of 231 miles in 10 minutes.

The interior of the new SUV features the Neue Klasse design language. Key components include the BMW Panoramic iDrive system, which incorporates a 17.9-inch central infotainment screen and a 43-inch Panoramic Vision display extending across the windshield.
