Users of the Telegram-based trading bot BloomTrading reported the loss of nearly $1 million on October 26, 2026. Approximately 9,408 SOL were drained from 48 to 49 user wallets, while some USDC holdings remained untouched.
BloomTrading operates as a custodial service, generating and holding private keys for its users. Following the incident, the company temporarily disabled certain functions and launched an investigation into a potential third-party compromise.
The platform has committed to reimbursing affected users by transferring funds to new, secure wallets. Individual losses reached as high as $80,000 for some traders, leading some to urge others to withdraw their funds from the service immediately.
