Bloomberg Terminal now provides real-time price tracking for perpetual futures from the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid. Users can access these quotes by entering the command WSL HYPE into the terminal interface.
The integration covers a wide range of assets, including Bitcoin, gold, oil, the S&P 500, and the EUR/USD pair. Hyperliquid operates on its own Layer-1 blockchain and currently supports more than 100 different assets.
The feature went live on October 5, 2026, following an initial announcement by Michael McDonough on September 29, 2026. This data feed operates 24/7, allowing users to monitor markets outside of traditional trading hours.
The current implementation is limited to data display, as the terminal does not support trade execution on Hyperliquid. Furthermore, the platform continues to geo-block users located in the United States.
