Transport operators Blaguss and FlixBus have launched a fleet of eight electric coaches on the route connecting Vienna, Vienna Airport, and Bratislava. These vehicles now handle 90% of the scheduled daily kilometers on this cross-border service.

The new fleet consists of Yutong electric coaches. This deployment is part of a broader electrification strategy by Blaguss, which previously introduced 12 Yutong T12E battery-electric models in April 2026.

To support the new operations, the companies installed dedicated charging infrastructure in both Vienna and Bratislava. Blaguss reports that the charging system is powered by renewable energy from its own photovoltaic installations.
