The iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) managed by BlackRock purchased $195.6 million in Bitcoin in a single day. According to data from Arkham, this transaction brought the fund's total Bitcoin acquisitions over the past month to $1.57 billion.
During the same session, the net inflow for IBIT reached $195.57 million. While the broader category of US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a total net inflow of $102.67 million for the day, the performance of other funds was offset by net selling, making IBIT the primary driver of market activity.
This positive session reversed a previous trend, where the category had experienced a net outflow of approximately $149 million. Over the last 30 days, the entire spot Bitcoin ETF sector saw net inflows of about $2.99 billion, with IBIT accounting for more than half of that total.
Launched in January 2024 following approval from the US Securities and Exchange Commission, IBIT has become the largest US spot Bitcoin ETF. Its assets under management currently stand at $109.34 billion, with the fund maintaining a management fee of 0.25%.
