Bitwise Investment Advisers has secured regulatory approval for its spot NEAR ETF, which will trade on NYSE Arca under the ticker NRR. The SEC confirmed the effectiveness of the registration statement on September 24, 2026, with a public launch expected around September 29.
The fund distinguishes itself by staking 100% of its NEAR Protocol holdings to generate additional yield. Coinbase Custody will manage the tokens, while BNY Mellon provides administrative and cash custody services. The annual management fee for the product is set at 0.75%.
The trust was established in Delaware in April 2025, with the approval process spanning approximately 17 months. Initial seed capital includes a basket of 20 000 shares valued at $500 000. Following the news, the price of NEAR tokens rose by roughly 26% over one week.
