Bitwise Asset Management launched its spot NEAR ETF on NYSE Arca on September 29, 2026, under the ticker NRR. This is the first US exchange-traded fund providing direct exposure to NEAR Protocol tokens.
The fund stakes 100% of its holdings to generate rewards for shareholders. Bitwise retains 33% of these staking rewards to cover operational expenses, while the remaining 67% is distributed to the fund.
The ETF carries an annual management fee of 0.75%. Coinbase Custody provides token safekeeping, and BNY Mellon oversees administrative and cash operations.
The fund was established as a Delaware statutory trust in April 2025. Following SEC approval and NYSE Arca listing confirmation on September 24, 2026, the product began public trading five days later.
Initial seed capital included a $200 contribution for 8 shares and a subsequent $500 000 investment for 20 000 shares to ensure liquidity.
