BitMine reported total holdings of $17.1 billion as of September 21, 2026. The portfolio includes 5,983,940 ETH, 212 BTC, and private stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings valued at $180 million and $105 million respectively. The company has been purchasing ether weekly since June 30, 2025.

The firm aims to acquire 5% of the total ether supply. Due to the lack of a supply limit for ETH, the target threshold continues to rise. As of August, the company was short by 251,000 tokens, and after purchasing 136,329 additional ether, the current deficit stands at approximately 121,000 tokens.

Tom Lee, Chairman of BitMine, stated that institutional investors remain underweighted in crypto assets following the outperformance of AI stocks earlier in 2026. He expects a substantial increase in institutional exposure during the final three months of the year. Ether has outperformed the S&P 500 by about 65 percentage points since late June.

Market valuation of BitMine stood at $15.68 billion at the close of trading on Friday, which is lower than the $17.1 billion value of its treasury assets. Ether was trading near $2,734 at the time of the report, marking a 6% increase over 24 hours. Lee is scheduled to deliver a keynote in Seoul on September 30.
