The realized capitalization of Bitcoin recorded its first positive 30-day change in 2026 on August 24, ending a period of 87 consecutive days of decline. By September 6, the metric reached 0.88%, with the total realized cap hitting approximately $1.068 trillion.

This shift indicates an inflow of roughly $9.36 billion in new capital into the Bitcoin ecosystem over a 30-day window. By mid-September, the monthly change in realized capitalization further increased to approximately 1.0%.

During the period when the metric turned positive, Bitcoin traded between $78,000 and $80,000. By mid-September, the trading range shifted to $76,600–80,400, with a resistance band identified between $83,000 and $86,000.

Analysts from CryptoQuant and Glassnode noted that the reversal suggests a return of higher-priced transactions. Additionally, sell-side risk ratios have compressed to near yearly lows, indicating a market state of lower volatility.
