Bitcoin is trading at $83,327, marking a 0.6% increase over the last 24 hours, although the asset remains down 2.9% for the week. Market projections indicate an 82% probability that the price will stay within the $82,000 to $84,000 range today.

Investors are closely monitoring upcoming U.S. inflation data, which is expected to influence Federal Reserve interest-rate decisions. Current data from CME FedWatch shows a 19.4% probability of a 25-basis-point rate hike at the October 28 meeting, while prediction markets like Polymarket and Myriad estimate this chance at 17%.

Macroeconomic conditions remain challenging as 10-year Treasury yields reach 5.24% and 30-year yields hit 5.60%. These figures are near 52-week highs of 5.37% and 5.73%, respectively, levels not seen in over two decades. Analysts note that Bitcoin is currently treated more as a risk asset than a geopolitical hedge.

Institutional flows have slowed following a period of $11.1 billion in inflows since mid-July. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $21.13 million on Friday, following significant outflows of $487.07 million on Wednesday and $244.13 million on Thursday.

Technical analysis from Bitfire suggests Bitcoin is trading between approximately $80,300 and $87,100. A move above $85,600 on high volume could lead to $87,395, whereas a decline below $82,000 increases the risk of the price dropping toward $79,000.
