Bitcoin buyers are consistently accumulating assets in the range between $81,000 and $82,000. Market data indicates that sell orders above $83,300 are currently scarce, which may reduce resistance for upward price movement.

Data from Bitfinex and Glassnode shows that whale investors have acquired more than 14,335 BTC since October 1, 2026. Analysts note that this activity reflects a shift in cost-basis clusters and suggests a decrease in overhead supply.

As of early October, approximately 1.72 million BTC were held with a cost basis between $84,000 and $86,500. This cluster represents a significant concentration of previous buying activity that the price must overcome.

Bitcoin previously reached a peak of approximately $87,300 in late September 2026 before declining. Current market conditions show no signs of forced distribution, as holders are not being compelled to sell their positions.

If the support level between $81,000 and $82,000 fails, market analysts suggest that potential support could be tested near $80,500. Traders are monitoring whether whale accumulation will persist.
