US-listed Bitcoin ETFs attracted $986.9 million in the week ending September 4, marking a 6.7% increase in weekly inflows. In contrast, products tied to Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Hyperliquid saw inflows drop by 73% to 96% during the same period. Data from SoSoValue indicates that while buying activity slowed, none of these five asset groups recorded net outflows.
The previous week, ending August 28, showed a different trend with Bitcoin ETFs securing $924.5 million. Solana products had surged by 443% to $153.9 million, while XRP funds grew by 178% to $110.5 million and Hyperliquid reached $56.9 million. By the week of September 4, these figures fell to $6.2 million for Solana, $19 million for XRP, and $12.3 million for Hyperliquid.
Trading turnover also declined across the market. Bitcoin fund turnover fell to $14.5 billion from nearly $19 billion, and Ethereum turnover dropped to $4.1 billion. Despite these shifts in capital flows, spot prices for all five assets remained relatively stable, with Bitcoin gaining 2.58% and Ethereum rising 1.09% over the five trading days ending September 4.
Market participants are now monitoring macroeconomic indicators, including the August employment report, which showed payrolls rising by 162,000 against a forecast of 53,000. These figures influenced trader expectations regarding Federal Reserve interest rate hikes. The upcoming August inflation data, scheduled for release on September 11, is expected to further impact future investment flows.
