US spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded $3.8 billion in net inflows over a three-week period, marking the most aggressive institutional buying activity of 2026. In a single recent week, inflows reached nearly $987 million.

The asset is currently trading between $79,000 and $80,000. A 'golden cross' is forming as the 50-day exponential moving average (EMA) crosses above the 200-day EMA, a pattern not seen since November 2025. This signal is expected to be confirmed around September 11.

Since 2012, Bitcoin has experienced 12 golden crosses, with an average three-month gain of 24.9%. The most recent three instances led to rallies of 50% in September 2021, 45% in October 2023, and 60% in October 2024.

However, only three of these 12 signals remained valid for a full year. Additionally, USDT market dominance is approaching a 'death cross,' suggesting a rotation of capital from stablecoins back into the market.
