On October 14, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows totaling $261.4 million, according to data from Farside Investors. The outflows were primarily driven by Fidelity’s FBTC, which saw $152.7 million in withdrawals, and BlackRock’s IBIT, which lost $110.9 million.

In contrast to the broader market trend, Bitwise’s BITB fund attracted $2.2 million in inflows. Farside Investors tracks activity across 12 US spot Bitcoin ETFs, noting that most other funds remained relatively flat during the same period.

The trend extended beyond Bitcoin, as spot Ethereum ETFs also experienced net outflows of $130 million on October 14. This simultaneous decline across both asset classes suggests a wider shift in investor sentiment.

Since their launch in January 2024, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated over $54 billion in net inflows. As of mid-October, these funds collectively hold assets valued between $100 billion and $107 billion.
