Spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US have recorded eight consecutive days of net inflows, totaling approximately $2.39 billion for the week. This represents the largest weekly inflow since October 2025. Since their launch in January 2024, cumulative net inflows into these products have reached about $57.5 billion, with total assets under management approaching $108 billion.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust and Fidelity’s FBTC remain the primary recipients of this capital. This trend marks a shift from earlier in 2026, which saw periods of net outflows. Despite the institutional interest, Bitcoin is currently trading between $83,000 and $84,000, which is roughly 34% below its October 2025 peak of nearly $126,000.
Options traders are increasingly placing bullish bets, with a high concentration of call positions at the $90,000 and $95,000 strike prices. Market analysts suggest that a phenomenon known as gamma pinning is currently limiting price volatility, as market makers hedge their exposure around these specific levels.
The market is currently observing a divergence between steady institutional ETF inflows and stagnant spot price action. Analysts point to the upcoming options expiry cycle as a potential catalyst for future movement, noting that the unwinding of hedges or a push toward the $85,000 to $90,000 range could significantly impact price direction.
