On Monday, September 14, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $160 million. This activity ended a four-day period of outflows that lasted from September 8 to September 11. Following these transactions, the total net assets held by the category exceeded the $100 billion mark.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounted for the majority of the inflows with $134 million, while Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) added $53 million. Conversely, the ARK 21Shares ARKB fund experienced outflows of approximately $42 million during the same session.

Since the launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs on January 11, 2024, cumulative net inflows have reached roughly $55.3 billion. Currently, these funds collectively hold between 6% and 6.3% of the total Bitcoin supply, which is limited to 21 million coins.

The IBIT fund remains the dominant player in the sector with cumulative assets totaling approximately $64.1 billion. During the Monday inflows, the price of Bitcoin traded in the range of $77 000 to $78 000, compared to $46 000 at the time of the ETF launch.
