Berkshire Hathaway is investing an additional $330 million into the Italian technology firm Bending Spoons. This private placement involves the purchase of 10 million ordinary shares at a price of $33 per share.

The new deal follows a $600 million investment made by Berkshire Hathaway during the Bending Spoons IPO in July 2026. The latest transaction brings the total cumulative investment by Berkshire Hathaway to $930 million.

Following the completion of this deal, Berkshire Hathaway will hold a 4% ownership stake in Bending Spoons. The company, founded in 2013 by CEO Luca Ferrari and a group of engineers, focuses on acquiring and restructuring established digital businesses.

The current portfolio of Bending Spoons includes brands such as AOL, Evernote, Vimeo, WeTransfer, Eventbrite, Airtable, Brightcove, and Tractive. The company intends to use the new capital to maintain its acquisition-driven growth strategy.

Bending Spoons plans to disclose further details regarding the transaction in a Form 6-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The investment remains subject to customary closing conditions.
