The Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation has launched investigations into four major travel and booking platforms. The companies under scrutiny include Hangzhou Taomei Aviation Service, Tongcheng Network Technology, Tujia Online Information Technology, and Beijing Sankuai Information Technology, which operates Meituan.

The regulatory action follows directives from the State Administration for Market Regulation and preliminary verification of alleged violations of the Anti-Unfair Competition Law and the E-commerce Law of the People's Republic of China. The investigations were officially initiated following these legal assessments.

In response to the announcement on the morning of the 19th, all four companies issued statements confirming their cooperation with the authorities. Each platform pledged to comply with regulatory requirements while maintaining normal business operations to serve their users and partners.

The companies emphasized their commitment to industry standards and sustainable development. Representatives from Fliggy, Tongcheng, Tujia, and Meituan stated that they are working to enhance compliance levels and ensure the protection of consumer and partner rights throughout the investigation process.
