Beijing Hyundai will launch the Ioniq V electric vehicle in China on September 29. Pre-sales are currently underway, with the base model priced at ¥120,000, offering a CLTC-rated range of 540 km. The top-tier configuration costs ¥140,000 and provides a range of 650 km.

The vehicle is built on the E-GMP electric platform featuring an 800-volt architecture that supports ultra-fast charging. The car measures 4900 by 1890 by 1470 mm with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. Its exterior design, developed by the company's Chinese studio, features a coupe-like silhouette, frameless doors, and eight color options.

Inside, the Ioniq V is equipped with a 27-inch 4K display and an AR-HUD Cyber Eye system. The infotainment system runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 SoC. Hyundai collaborated with several local firms, including Momenta for driving assistance systems and CATL for battery supply.

Baidu and Volcano Engine also contributed to the vehicle's electronic systems, specifically integrating the Wenxin AI model. The manufacturer has announced plans to release a hybrid version of the Ioniq V in the future, which is expected to be more affordable than the current electric models.
