The 2027 Beijing International New-Quality Automotive and Future Smart Mobility Exhibition is scheduled for March 27 to April 5, 2027. The event will take place at the China International Exhibition Center Shunyi New Venue and the Capital International Exhibition Convention Center. This marks the first time the Beijing Auto Show will be held in an odd-numbered year as a specialized exhibition.
The schedule includes media days on March 27–28, trade days on March 29–30, and public access from March 31 to April 5. The auto parts exhibition will run for four days, starting March 27. Organizers aim to focus on smart manufacturing, future mobility, and AI applications in the automotive sector, alongside traditional new energy and intelligent connected vehicle displays.
Business matchmaking sessions will be organized to assist Chinese automakers in expanding into overseas markets. The event organizers plan to encourage new vehicle and technology debuts while inviting international buyers and industry organizations. This format follows an agreement to maintain the alternating biennial schedule for comprehensive auto shows between Beijing and Shanghai.
The 2027 Shanghai Auto Show is set for April 23 to May 2 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, covering 400 000 square meters. For comparison, the 2026 Beijing Auto Show spanned 380 000 square meters, hosted over 1 000 exhibitors, and recorded 1.28 million visits. That event featured 1 451 vehicles, including 181 debuts and 71 concept cars.
