This collaboration marks the first time Beats has included a lanyard accessory with the Pill series. The set comes with charms featuring a Poké Ball, Pikachu’s lightning bolt, and the classic Beats logo. These additions serve to emphasize the unique nature of the limited-edition release.
Technically, the device remains identical to the 2024 Beats Pill platform. It retains the upgraded audio system, a 24-hour battery life, and an IP67 dust and water resistance rating. The speaker supports both Android and iPhone devices and allows for lossless audio playback via a USB-C connection.
The product is scheduled for release on October 15 with a price tag of $149, matching the standard model. It will be available through Apple retail channels and select partners. The inclusion of Mimikyu is timed to coincide with the upcoming Halloween season, leveraging the character's mysterious aesthetic.
