Beats has officially launched its new flagship over-ear headphones, the Beats 360, priced at ¥2,999. The device features a modular design, marking the first time the brand has introduced replaceable ear cushions and headband pads, allowing for 256 possible aesthetic combinations.
The headphones are available in four base colors: black, cloud white, pink, and sky blue. Users can choose between two types of ear cushions: performance fabric for sports, which comes in six colors, and UltraPlush leather for daily use. The system automatically detects the material type via built-in sensors to adjust acoustic tuning.
Technically, the Beats 360 features a new high-fidelity acoustic architecture with a custom driver and a three-layer diaphragm. The device includes nine digital MEMS microphones for active noise cancellation, which is rated to be up to 1.75 times more effective than the Beats Studio Pro. It also supports personalized spatial audio with dynamic head tracking.
The headphones weigh 294.5 grams and offer a battery life of up to 32 hours. The Fast Fuel feature provides one hour of playback from a five-minute USB-C charge. Additionally, the Beats 360 is the first Beats over-ear model to feature an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance.
