Basis has released version 4.1 of its Virtual Security platform, focusing on containerization security. The update allows administrators to manage Kubernetes clusters, security policies, and image registries from a single interface.

Kubernetes clusters can now be added as individual protection objects using X.509 certificate authentication. The system monitors nodes and pods, checking their configurations against a baseline to detect unauthorized changes automatically.

The platform now includes integrated management for Kyverno policies, enabling users to create, edit, and monitor security rules directly. This eliminates the need to switch between multiple security tools to maintain infrastructure integrity.

The new version supports both private and public image registries. It performs periodic synchronization of image lists and scans them for vulnerabilities based on a flexible schedule, with results displayed in the main dashboard.

Security is further enhanced by digital signature verification for images, supported by the management of trusted CA certificates. The development of version 4.1 was guided by the requirements of FSTEC Order No. 118.
