Bambu Lab has officially teased its first 3D scanner, with details emerging from recent FCC filings. The documentation includes a label and a technical drawing of the upcoming device, providing the first glimpse into its design and power specifications.

The FCC label indicates a 60W power rating for the scanner. This specification has led to comparisons with the 3DeVOK MT Gen2 scanner, which shares the same power requirement. The presence of a flat spot on the handle suggests the device may feature an integrated screen, similar to the 3DeVOK model.

The 60W rating and the absence of battery information on the label suggest the scanner may require a wired connection to a PC for operation. While the 3DeVOK MT Gen2 is priced at $8,299, it remains unclear if Bambu Lab will adopt a similar platform or aim for a more consumer-oriented price point.
